1st Bangor started brightly in this game and should've been awarded a penalty early on only for the referee to inexplicably give a free kick outside the box (an apology from the ref after the game did little to detract from the decision).
However, Comber soon began to show why they are a top team with a fine finish on the 15 minute mark sending them 1-0 up. Worse was to come for 1st Bangor then as Stuart Beattie let his temper get the better of him and thrust his head towards Magennis leaving the ref little choice but to send the young midfielder off.
From then on 1st Bangor battled hard and despite going 2-0 down before the break continued to create chances with Aaron Caldwell and Stephen McCormick going close.
In the dying minutes and with the game stretched Comber twice added to their tally making the final score 4-0.
1st Bangor will be hoping to pick themselves up and put in another good performance in the league on Tuesday night against Kilroot at home.
